<h6>Making a phone call</h6>
You can use the ACT! Dialer with your telephone to dial your contacts' telephone numbers. The Dialer acts as a tone dialer by sending tones for the numbers selected to the HPC's speaker. To make a phone call:

<LI>Go to the record of the contact you want to call.
<LI>Tap the Dialer tool on the toolbar. The Dialer dialog box appears, displaying the phone numbers associated with that contact.
<LI>Select a number to dial from the list.
<LI>(Optional) If you want to dial a different number from the one currently displayed, type a different telephone number in the Number To Dial field.
<LI>Hold the HPC's speaker up to the mouthpiece on your telephone's handset and tap OK to dial the telephone number. ACT! sends tones for the numbers selected to the HPC's speaker.
